Koyasan

Here is another picture I took in Koyasan, Japan. During our visit to Koyasan we stayed in a Buddhist monastery for two nights. Every day we joined the monks in their early morning prayers. This is a picture I took during the fire ceremony, which is part of the morning rituals. I really love the way the flames shine at you. I used my quiet Leica M8 camera so I didn’t disturb anybody.
