This afternoon I was in the center of Amsterdam. The canals and the 17th century houses looked wonderful in the low winter light. The canals beg for panorama shots. There is so much to see and there are so many corners and angles. Here’s an example.

  1. i’d like to visit Amstardam, here is a great view!
    nicely done.

  2. Lovely, Maarten. I assume this was stitched? Such wonderful and distinctive housing you have… makes me want to visit more than just trekking through Schiphol airport. Perhaps I can pause and spend a few days next time I’m in Europe. Alas, at this moment I don’t know when that might be.

  3. Hi Chuck, thanks! Yes, it was stitched. Some 15 photos, handheld. So it could have been less shots but doing it handheld I always overdo it a bit. Amsterdam is a nice city to visit. It is relatively small. And don’t forget to notify me when you come here, because I could show you around a bit! I hope you are able to visit Europe as planned.
