Panorama from Arc de Triomphe


I took two panoramas when I was on the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. This one is taken while looking in the direction of Bois de Boulogne, which you can see if you look down my favorite avenue just right from the middle. The avenue right of that one leads to La Defense with the modern version of the Arc de Triomphe called La Grande Arche.

That worked well, Maarten. How many frames did you stitch together? Looks like your Nikon level served you very well for this image! Very nice!!

Thanks, Chuck. It was made out of nine files. Taken with my Leica M8, handheld. Software makes life easy!

Yes, software does some amazing things for sure. I can remember the work it was doing this kind of thing in the darkroom. No, thank you. Not wishing for the “good old days” on that score!
